Promo Video Competition
Calling all aspiring vloggers and videographers! Lashings Treasure Beach is launching a competition to create the best promo video for our hotel and beach club. The winning entry will be awarded a free weekend for two at Lashings, so get filming and editing now!
Films must be no longer than 30 seconds long and in a format suitable for social media use. Please send all entries via Instagram messenger to @lashingstreasurebeach Closing date for entries is 31st December 2020. The finalists' videos will be posted on Lashings social media accounts and the winner will be announced on 8th January 2021.

Terms and Conditions
The judges' decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The winner will be given a gift voucher to be redeemed against a weekend for two people at either Lashings Boutique Hotel or Beach Club, Treasure Beach. This is for a double room only, food and other costs such as transport are not included. The voucher must be claimed within 14 days and the room booked before 8th June 2021. Subject to availability and dates to be agreed with Lashings.
The finalists and winner's videos will be posted on Lashings social media accounts in January 2021, with the entrants being tagged/named in the post. No copyright can be attached to this, or monetary value attached to usage.
The winning entry may be used on Lashings website.
This competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over, excluding employees and their immediate families, Lashings associated agents or anyone professionally connected with Lashings.
Only one entry per person.
The winner will be notified by Instagram messenger via the account provided at point of entry within 14 days of the closing date and will have 14 days from notification to claim their gift voucher. If a winner does not claim their prize within this timeframe Lashings reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and will award the prize to a the runner up.
The gift voucher must be accepted as offered by the named winner. There is no cash or alternative prizes, in whole or part. This prize is not transferable and cannot be resold.
The Legal Bit
You agree that if you are a winner, you will take part in and co-operate fully with reasonable publicity and to the use of your name, photograph and any comments in such publicity without any fee being payable.
By entering the promotion, each entrant grants Lashings a world-wide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty free and sub-licensable right and licence to use reproduce, modify, adapt, publish or display (in whole or in part) any intellectual property contained in the content of their entry, without royalty, payment or other compensation. Each entrant agrees not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use and warrants that they have full authority to grant such rights.
Lashings reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these terms and conditions or the spirit of the competition. Those who try to circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
Lashings reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment.
If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
