Lashings Hurricane / Weather Disruption Policy

At Lashings Boutique Hotel and Beach Club, the safety and well being of our guests and staff is our highest priority. As we are located in a region where tropical storms and hurricanes can occur, we have established the following policy to ensure clarity and fairness for all guests.

It is implicit upon booking that you have understood these terms.

1.⁠ ⁠Non Refundable Bookings

All reservations at Lashings are non refundable, including cancellations or delays caused by:
   •    Hurricanes
   •    Tropical storms
   •    Severe weather
   •    Airline cancellations or delays
   •    Travel disruption due to natural events

2.⁠ ⁠Complimentary Date Changes

If a guest is unable to travel due to a hurricane or major weather disruption, we offer:

*  Free rebooking to new dates

Guests may move their reservation to any future available dates without penalty.

* No change fees

There are no charges for modifying dates once travel becomes possible.

This flexible rebooking option ensures guests can fully enjoy their stay once conditions are safe.

3.⁠ ⁠Resort Operational Status

If Lashings remains open, staffed, and able to accommodate guests, the no-refund policy applies in full.

If the property is forced to close due to severe damage or mandatory government shutdown, guests will be offered:
   •    A free date change or
   •    A credit for a future stay

(Refunds are not issued.)

4.⁠ ⁠Travel Insurance Strongly Recommended

Due to the nature of Caribbean weather, we strongly advise all guests to purchase travel insurance that covers:
   •    Weather related cancellations
   •    Delayed flights
   •    Interrupted travel
   •    Lost vacation days

Insurance providers, not the hotel, are responsible for reimbursing guests for weather related losses.
