GETTING HERE

It’s advised not to use sat navs or Google maps in Jamaica. Thanks to constant new construction, the main roads are subject to frequent changes. Stay away from smaller back roads, which can come to an unexpected end or may have been washed away in sudden rainfall.

Directions from Montego Bay Airport

Turn right (last exit) at the roundabout after leaving the airport and continue to the end of the road. Turn left at the next T-Junction. Go through Montego Bay’s main strip.

Continue straight on this road until you come to the first set of lights, turn right (passing by KFC). Continue on this road straight through three more sets of lights. At the 4th set of lights take a left. Continue to the end of this road passing a large shopping centre/cinema on the right and take a right at the set of lights at the end of the road.

Continue through three sets of lights. At the 4th set of lights take a left which will take you up Long Hill.

Go up the hill and pass through the town of Anchovy and turn right at the t-junction in Whithorn.

At the bottom of the hill, the road takes a turn to the right but continue ‘straight’ for some distance, picking up the newly built main road which you need to keep following until you get to the coastal road.

When you get to the t-junction meeting the A2 coastal road, take a left at the Ferris Cross gas station and continue east to Bluefields, Whitehouse and Black River.

Once in Black River take a left at the one-way street (just past the supermarket and gas station) and then quite soon take the first right after the Chinese shop. You will wind past the market. Stay to the right and eventually come to another T. Take the left and go over the bridge.

Take your third right at the Jack Sprat restaurant sign which will be about 3 - 4 miles out of town and from there the signs are good directing you to Treasure Beach (or just follow the Jack Sprat signs).

After the TB welcome boat, continue down towards Calabash Bay.

For the hotel: you will see a sign to your right off the main road.

For the Beach Club: At Kingfisher Plaza, just before the road bears right, turn left into Old Wharf Road and follow the signs.
