Deloris Anglin's whimsical depictions of everyday Jamaican life are full of the colour, vibrancy and humour of this beautiful island. She lives and works near Catadupa, St James, with her husband, fellow artist Albert Artwell.
Her work has evolved into two distinct categories. One presents the familiar Jamaican countryside with everyday scenes or portraits full of whimsy. The other recalls a religious context in Jamaican life, where past and present coincide. Stylistically her work is vibrant and colorful with simplified details.
